Lone Fungus: Melody of Spores
I started playing this last month but it also got hit with the lag issues, so had to put it on pause. We haven't quite finished up the game, but I think I'm at the final boss. For the most part, the game has been a ton of fun. The music is great and (most of) the platforming has felt pretty clean. I've definitely had some issues, the main one being that, in the last boss fight, it's kinda turned into a bullet hell where every thing is different shades of blue or purple lol. It's so hard to see what's happening and, if you've played Hollow Knight, the boss is structured like the climbing phase of the Radiance fight.
I think I would still recommend Lone Fungus: Melody of Spores. But if you do pick it up, know that there are no difficulty sliders or accessibility options in the game. So if you get stuck, you're just kinda stuck until you make your way through it or stop trying.

On My Own
Skator Gator 3D
I was looking for a quick game to play before bed this month and remembered that I had Skator Gator 3D in my steam library. It's a chill lane-based platformer where you're fighting against a pollution spreading corporation who stole the deed to your swamp! Skate and platform your way through the levels in this really fun (and at times difficult) game.

Finding a New Pace
So. I got a part time job! I've spent the last month or so learning how to be a barista and I'm really enjoying it so far. There's so much that goes into setting up the beans and machine to get a good cup of coffee that I didn't know about. I'm learning to appreciate espresso a bit more, currently my fave drink is an extra sweet vanilla latte and my fave drink to make is a Vietnamese iced coffee.
This does mean that my videos and streams have slowed down drastically for the moment as I've been a bit on call for the job and training. As soon as I figure out a cadence for myself, I'll be back with my Chicory reflective play and more streams! I'm also planning on some other ways to share more writing, videos, and other works with y'all. I know that I've talked about that in the past, but I know that I want to lock in on this. I'm excited for what I'm dreaming up (hint is that it might include more stuff about cooking and reading, which are huge parts of my life that I don't talk about a lot on socials).
My Content for this Month
Slice of Calm Club
Thanks to everyone who's a part of Slice of Calm! I sent out the postcards today and I'm hoping they make it to everyone safe. If you're interested in learning more (and signing up), you can visit my Ko-Fi page for more info! https://ko-fi.com/pizza_yeti/tiers. This is a monthly snail mail club where you get a postcard version of a picture I've taken and a letter (with some occasional goodies). I may also be brainstorming another snail mail club, so stay tuned for that.
Streams
In June, I streamed twice lol! You can check the VODs on YouTube if you missed any. In exciting news, I got a dock for my Steam Deck, so now I can play games without having to worry so much about lag and the audio issues I was experiencing!
YouTube Videos - Reflective Plays
The Celeste videos have continued over on YouTube. I should have 2 out this week once I finish up the edits! There's only a few more levels in the game and then we'll be starting up another reflective play!
